The second season begins again with a series of dramatic events, where Rio seems to be forcing Beth, Annie and Robbie to work out solutions to the problem of a potential witness that challenges women's ethics. On the other hand, Annie is in an awkward position with Greg and Nancy in a short time, and there seem to be many tensions between the women and Boomer and Mary may reach a different turn.
This kind of television show shouldn't feel as rare as it does - an intelligent yarn that's broadly accessible, that's digested easily and satisfyingly while still provoking hunger for more.
The first season introduced Beth and the gang to the crime, now they have to deal with the consequences. But it's great fun to watch, because of the show's winking combo of guilt and domestic unbliss.
