Season 2 starts as the health inspector comes and tells Basil Manuel to get rid of his pet rat. Now, this strange creature must be disposed of and later discovered by its name Basil. An eclectic deaf woman named Mrs. Richards apparently was getting a large sum of money stolen at the hotel. Current events are against the desires of Cybele, as Basil puts a handful on dragonflies.

There weren't any largely obvious differences between the first and second series, save for a tighter rein on some of the denser scripts. The farce got more darkly outrageous and personal, leaving no room for improvement in any of the six episodes.
