He is joined by companion Ace, played by Sophie Aldred. Nicholas Courtney returned to play Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart in 'Battlefield'. Anthony Ainley returned to play The Master in 'Survival'. This was Ainley's final television appearance in the role.
