In the 1960s, John Loengard and Kim Sayers play a dangerous secret mission in order to thwart many plans by this invisible foreign invasion. On the other hand, a secret government organization is pursuing its missions to deal with these foreign threats. John and Kim are trying to stay ahead of a secret government agency, Majestic-12, an organization aimed at eliminating foreigners.
It takes a while, but Dark Skies becomes such a wild ride with such a rock-solid premise that most who watch it will be anxiously awaiting the inevitable SyFy remake.
Dark Skies had some great production values and effects going for it, but it missed one key element that made The X-Files so memorable: great characters.
