The series follows Sam Fox, a working actor with no filter trying to earn a living, as she raises three daughters, in Los Angeles while juggling the pressures of working in Hollywood and being a single parent.
Pamela Adlon's Better Things goes a step further, creating a realistic portrait of an actress and comedian trying to raise a trio of daughters in a semi-normal way.
