This comedy TV show embodies a variety of situations performed by a group of funny characters and famous guests. In this comedy show, guests deal with a variety of situations where they perform various scenes and shows performed by a group of black women. These black women are collaborating on more comedy situations and scenes closer to reality.
"A Black Lady Sketch Show" is a shining example of the great work you get when equality comes to comedy. The only criticism I have is that it took so long for us to get here.
A Black Lady Sketch Show is so funny, and so packed with fresh ideas that it's bound to leave audiences wondering: What took so long for something like this to exist?
In this first episode alone I found myself cracking up at just how good all the women are at the physical comedy, but also going so deep into each character-and like all good comedy, being able to take some jabs at society.
The series isn't just breaking ground because it's a black sketch show airing at the same time as another black sketch show: This type of thing just hasn't been done.
Moments of shock or horror constantly collide with comedy in ways that make A Black Lady Sketch Show much more interesting than a mere delivery engine for laughs.
