Centuries ago, Kaulder, a witch-hunter who was cursed with eternal life, managed to slay the all-powerful Queen Witch. Before her death, Queen Witch curses Kaulder with her own immortality, forever separating him from his beloved wife and daughter in the afterlife. 800 years later, Kaulder is still working as a witch hunter for an organization called The Axe and Cross, which aims to keep the truce between humans and witches. The last witch hunter is all that stands between humanity and the combined forces of the most horrifying witches in history.
