This film, is directed by Rob LaDuca and Robert C. Ramirez, follows Joseph who has a mysterious talent. Joseph is traded on an illegal human trafficking by his own brothers. After rescuing Egyptian Pharaoh, he is rewarded and becomes wealthy.
Once one stops making unfair comparisons to a theatrical film made on a much bigger budget, Joseph: King of Dreams is worthwhile on its own more modest terms.
... fails to bring Joseph and his brothers to life the way Moses and Rameses came to life in The Prince of Egypt. Sappy, run-of-the-mill songs drown out any subtleties.
