Wullf Yularen was a male Human, born into a prominent family, who served as an intelligence officer in the Galactic Republic and its successor government, the Galactic Empire. During the Clone Wars, he served as an admiral in the Republic Navy under the command of Jedi General Anakin Skywalker. Following the conclusion of the war and the birth of the Empire, Yularen would go on to serve as a colonel in the Imperial Security Bureau.As an admiral during the Clone Wars, he commanded his fleet from the Venator-class Star Destroyer Resolute. Yularen would lead from the Resolute for the majority of the time, including the hunt for the Separatist warship Malevolence in 22 BBY. At one point, he led his fleet into the Battle of Teth from the Spirit of the Republic.Sometime following the creation of the Empire in 19 BBY, Yularen became a colonel in the Imperial Security Bureau. He would be stationed onboard the Death Star I, where he was tasked with briefing Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin and maintaining loyalty to the Empire.
