Ryder Azadi was a male human who served as the Governor of Lothal during the early reign of the Galactic Empire. He was charged with treason when he supported the rebellious transmissions made by Ephraim and Mira Bridger.He was removed from power and subsequently imprisoned at an Imperial prison with the Bridgers. He later escaped and was visited by Ezra Bridger who asked him the fate of his parents. Sadly, Ryder was forced to report that the Bridgers had perished during the breakout in which he had escaped, though he made a point of extolling their bravery and their role in leading the breakout after hearing Ezra's message to all Rebel-sympathizers.Azadi has some skill in riding a speeder bike and handling a blaster rifle, and is accompanied by a white Loth-cat.
