Willie Lopez is one of the main villains in Ghost. In the movie as Sam and Molly are walking home from the theater Willie stops them and pulls out a gun and tells Sam to give him his wallet to which Sam tells Willie to take the money but then he and Willie begin to fight and Willie shoots Sam and kills him. A few days later Willie shows up at Sam and Molly's apartment when Molly isn't home and begins to look for something. Unknown to Willie Sam is in in the apartment in his spiritural body and he manages to scare Floyd the cat who scratches Willie and Willie runs away with Sam following him. Sam follows Willie to his trashy apartment where Willie makes a phone call to another man telling him that he couldn't get what he was looking for because Molly came home and that he would go back and get it in a few days. It is revealed that Willie has Sam's wallet and key to the apartment. Sam gets a spirtural reader named Oda Mae Browne to tell Molly to go to the police to find out about Willie to which she does but the police say that there is no file on Willie Lopez and maybe he was just a boyfriend that Oda Mae was trying to get even with. When Sam's friend Carl Bruner goes to Willie's Apartment to confront Willie it is here revealed that Carl hired Willie to steal Sam's wallet because Carl was laundering $4 million dollars at the bank under the name Rita Miller. Carl orders Willie to kill Oda Mae because she could possibly tell the police about them and put them in jail for a long time. The next day Willie goes to Oda Mae's apartment and tells her to tell him who he is to which she does and he shoots at her but she manages to escape and he leaves. When Sam has Oda Mae get the $4 million out of the account and give it away to two nuns Carl finds out and he and Willie rush to Oda Mae's apartment and look for her and her sisters. Sam manages to scare Willie by turning on the sink in the bathroom and writing BOO on the window. Willie runs for his life with Sam following him and is hit by a car. Soon Willie appears in his spiritural body where he meets Sam who tells him that he's dead and then little shadow creatures appear and take Willie to Hell for his evil actions. Show less «
