The character of Walter Collins is based on a real boy of 9 years. His mother raises him on her own because his father left when he was a young baby. One day he is left home alone by his mother and when she arrives back he is missing. The film follows the mothers long search for him and near to the end it shows through the words of another boy that he helped a fellow captive boy to escape with him. Show less «
