Victoria Chase (Wendie Malick)Former soap star Victoria Chase (Wendie Malick) was flying to Paris with her two best friends when their plane made an emergency landing in Cleveland. The ladies soon realize that what may be considered old and chubby in Los Angeles is, in fact, hot in Cleveland. For 27 years, Victoria played Honor St. Raven on the now canceled daytime drama Edge of Tomorrow. As a result, she has a long-standing rivalry with her professional nemesis Susan Lucci. Given her long career in daytime television, Victoria has a soap opera analogy for nearly every situation. Victoria loves to be the center of attention and has a knack for making everything about her. Victoria may be self-obsessed, but she's fiercely loyal to her two best friends Melanie and Joy. The three ladies live in Cleveland in a home taken care of by elderly spitfire Elka. Victoria has five ex-husbands, three adopted children (named Emmy, Oscar and Tony, obviously) and one grandchild. She still suspects her third husband may have been gay.Victoria's father was an actor but he never paid attention to Victoria's career because she was on TV and not on the stage. This may explain her constant need for validation from her peers. Now in her 50's, Victoria is still trying to keep her career alive but often gets offers for work that aren't nearly as fabulous as she expects them to be.
