Trent DeMarco, an attractive young man from a wealthy family, was a very cocky and rude individual. When in high school he became a popular jock and dated Mikaela Banes. She ended up breaking up with him and started dating Sam Witwicky. After graduating from high school, Trent went to college. While there, he met and began dating a fellow student named Jenna.In the summer of 2009, Trent invited Jenna and several of their college friends (Bree, Nolan, Chelsea, Chewie, and Lawrence) for a weekend of partying at his parents' spacious cabin at Crystal Lake. During the drive, they stopped at a gas station to stock up on supplies. While waiting in line to pay for his things, Trent encountered Clay Miller.Clay had been in the area passing out missing persons' flyers relating to his sister Whitney who (unbeknownst to everyone) had been abducted by the hockey masked killer known as Jason Voorhees. While Clay tried to talk with the gas station attendant, Trent rudely interrupted him, indicating that he was holding everyone up. The two briefly exchanged heated words and parted company.Trent brought the others to the cabin, but he had little interest in socializing with them and engaging in their drinking games. He only wanted to impress them with his obvious wealth and chastised them for their behavior. He later offered to go hiking with Jenna, but she quickly realized that this was just a transparent attempt to seduce her and she politely declined.Later, Clay turned up at the cabin as he continued to pass out flyers. He didn't realize that the cabin belonged to Trent who made it very clear that Clay was not welcome in his home. Jenna, however, took pity on Clay and elected to accompany him on his search for his sister much to Trent's chagrin. Afterwards, Trent attempted to entertain the others at the cabin but refused to partake in their juvenile anticsAs time passed, Trent grew frustrated that Jenna had yet to return and incorrectly suspected that she was cheating on him with Clay. To get back at her, he and Bree went to a bedroom to have sex. Jenna and Clay, after an encounter with Voorhees, returned to the cabin soon afterwards. Meanwhile, Bree began videotaping her and Trent's activities although he warned her not to post the footage on the internet.Jenna, after being informed of their whereabouts, went to warn Trent and Bree about Voorhees but found the door to the room they were in locked for obvious reasons. She tried to get their attention by shouting out to them and banging on the door, but they simply dismissed her and continued having sex. They were unaware, however, that Voorhees was outside watching them through the window.When the two were through, the lights to the cabin suddenly went out. Trent went to investigate and came upon Jenna and Clay. They tried to warn him that Voorhees was stalking the area, but Trent was more concerned with bad-mouthing Clay than he was with any potential danger that might be in the area. Jenna prevented the two from coming to blows with one another.When the group heard the tortured screams of their friend Lawrence being murdered outside, Trent suddenly realized the seriousness of the situation. He tried to call the police but the phone lines had been cut. Since Clay had managed to get a hold of the police earlier, an officer named Bracke came to the house, but Voorhees appeared behind him and promptly murdered him.As panic consumed the group, Trent found his father's gun and loaded it with bullets. As he continued to hear noises throughout the cabin, he began shooting wildly until Clay forced him to calm down. Trent went upstairs where he found Bree's dead body lying on the floor. Now that they realized that Voorhees had access to the cabin, they tried to leave.Trent went into Officer Bracke's car to use the radio, but was startled when Bree's body came crashing down onto the windshield. While Clay and Jenna ran off in one direction, Trent ran off in another. As he stumbled through the forest, he eventually came upon a road where a passing tow truck caught sight of him and stopped.The driver motioned for Trent to come over to the vehicle. Before he could reach the truck, however, Voorhees appeared behind Trent and ran him through with his machete. He then impaled him on a row of spikes sticking up from the back of the truck. The driver frantically gunned the engine and drove off with Trent's bleeding body. Show less «
