Doctor Fishman, known as The Literal Doctor, is a physician at the local hospital who treats the Bluth family's various ailments, but makes medical conditions sound much worse than they are by being literal. For instance, when George Sr. is rushed to the hospital following a heart attack and escapes, Dr. Fishman informs the family that we lost him, and they assume George died. But he was just being literal. Lucille refers to him as Dr. Wordsmith.
