Scott Guber is the assistant principal and disciplinarian at Winslow High. His childhood was apparently quite repressive with no outward affection of any kind from his parents, especially his father. His mother came to admit this to him in Season 3. He has a younger brother who is a successful attorney with whom he severed all ties to after he hired a prostitute for Scott for the holidays out of pity. Due to his repressed upbringing, he finds himself lusting after any woman who is nice to him, particularly Lauren Davis and Marilyn Sudor. His demeanor and posture has earned him the nickname The Nazi by the students, some of whom have managed to play practical jokes on him from time to time. However, he is a very competent administrator and shines brightest in emergency situations such as Steven Harper's arrest and Harry Senate's brush with death. He has also shown compassion for certain troubled students at the school. His outlet consists of listening to classical music and pretending to conduct them.
