Rifki a Jordainian prisoner and a snitch.He is hated by just about everyone,but also needed.He sells candy,cigarettes,tea,hashish,downers.He doesn't really like anyone particularly westerners(Europeans,and Americans)so he delights in burning them by selling them watered down tea and poor quality hash.In Billy Hayes book Rifki wasn't killed in prison,however the money he made over the years in prison was stolen then destroyed.He was released from prison onto the mean streets of Istanbul with as one inmate said No money!no friend!plenty enemy! and was never heard from again.
