Louis Litt is a lawyer and senior partner at Pearson Hardman Specter. Promoted to the position of senior partner by Daniel Hardman prior to Daniel's expulsion from the firm, he is a natural and immediate rival of Harvey Specter. He is also only too happy to put Harvey's hire Mike Ross through the pressure cooker.Louis is something of a power monger and is less-than-thrilled to hear of his colleagues' promotions, especially Harvey's quick advancement through the ranks of the firm. Along with his unambiguous jealousy of the younger, prettier lawyer, Louis holds a deep respect for Harvey, once comparing their relationship to that of Ralph E. Wolf and Sam Sheepdog from Looney Tunes. While enemies at work, they often leave the office on at least semi-amicable terms. Basically, it's all part of the day's work.Louis had few friends in school and was often bullied. He likes ballet, plays tennis and was absolutely devastated when his cat Bruno passed away.
