Kraven is perhaps the most treacherous character in the Underworld movies. He conspired with the arch-enemy of the vampires, Lucian, to bring down the leadership of the covens and to seize power. He'd gained favor in the eyes of Viktor for surviving the Night of Flame and Retribution and presenting the coven with proof of Lucian's death by his hand. In his position of power, in charge of Viktor's affairs (while Viktor slept during off-years of his reign), he ran Viktor's mansion house as if it was his own fiefdom. He gains the enmity of Selene by a) usurping Viktor's authority, b) ceaselessly pursuing Selene romantically, c) inflicting physical abuse on Selene, d) attempting to kill Michael. His lust for power and advancement (as Kahn put it) was the primary driver for his actions.Toward the end of Underworld, Kraven reveals to Selene that it was Viktor (father figure to Selene) who had killed her family, sparking her hatred of lycans.During Underworld: Evolution, Kraven is killed by Marcus in the burial vault of the mansion house, where Kraven had gone, in all likelihood, to kill the sleeping Marcus after returning from the battle at Lucian's hideout (and also killing Lucian) at the end of Underworld.Kraven will be featured in the forthcoming third Underworld movie. /V Show less «
