As the deceptively cute and pucker-lipped national gymnast, Kelly Parker soon proves to have a seemingly limitless cruel streak that she uses to defend her title as top gymnast. She has a talent for finding out other people's business, and remorselessly drills into the personal problems and wounds of the girls at the Rock in order to weaken their performances. She and the four main characters clash quite often in the 1st season of the show, with occasionally only Lauren being sharp enough to keep lashing back at her, and proves many times to have an unbearably prideful attitude. However, in Season 2 we find out more about her life, including her secret envy of the group and longing for loyal teammates, and her guilt-tripping single mother who pushes her to throw any competition under the bus using any means possible. As she spends more time with the girls, it is Kaylie who first sees that her vulnerable side may reveal a true decency of character. Show less «
