In the original film, Kate McLeod was the first wife of Connor. After Connor was fatally stabbed in battle and healed. Kate, Connor's cousin Dougal and the clan accused Connor of being the devil and Kate demanded that Connor be burnt at the stake, but Connor's other cousin Angus, decided to let Connor live and banished him never to return. She was played by Celia Imrie.In the 4th film, Duncan McLeod married a immortal woman named Kate (Whom did not know she was immortal at the time). Duncan stabbed her, so they could be together forever. But, Kate could not forgive Duncan and centuries later, she sided with the evil and vengeful Jacob Kell and his followers, as Kell was out to unleash vengeance upon Connor and killing other immortals to make him all powerful, by violating the rules of The Game, but Kell betrayed Kate and beheaded her along with all his followers.
