Jim is the grandson of Eleanor, one of the original Midnight Society members who used the Silver Sight charm. Jim is attracted to Megan and, though his parents are presumably insane and live underground to hide from Eleanor's enemies after the Silver's Sight's luck turned on her undoing the wealth it gave, persuades her he's normal and wants to help her find where Eleanor hid her part of a record saying where to find the charm so he can live a normal life after its destruction. Since Mr. Gregory drove her out after she mentioned it, he asks her to return after a while so he can give it to her. But he and his family are gone when she returns after they have apparently been attacked. Though his father is shown later, implying the rest of the family is safe, he is never seen again. Show less «
