Jackie Burkhart is Michael Kelso's ex-girlfriend. At first, she doesn't really fit in with Kelso's circle of friends, but hangs out with them all the time anyway. After she and Kelso break up, she continues to hang out in the basement with him and his friends. Jackie is rich, spoiled, and extremely self-centered. She's also a year younger than the other members of the gang.She is best friends with Donna Pinciotti, even though neither of them liked to admit it. Jackie considers herself better and more attractive than Donna, but still says she can do better than Eric Forman. She and Eric never really got along, even though she was always at his house. Eventually, Jackie finally says that she always cared about Eric, when she calls and asks to speak to him.Jackie had three steady boyfriends. She lost her virginity to Michael Kelso. She and Kelso broke up several times before the final break-up. Kelso's friends find her annoying, and Kelso repeatedly says she's going to break up with her. Their first break-up happened because Kelso kissed Pam Macy, but they got back together later that episode. Later, Jackie breaks up with Kelso again after a pregnancy scare, and they get back together at Junior Prom. She breaks up with him again in season 2 when he catches Kelso kissing Eric's sister Laurie. Everyone else in the gang had known that Kelso was seeing Laurie, but didn't tell Jackie. Jackie later tests Kelso to see if they should get back together, which they do. Kelso begins neglecting her in season 4, and Eric catches Jackie kissing her boss, the cheese guy. Jackie ends up telling Kelso. This causes both of them to think about why they cheated. Jackie had cheated because she was still hurt by all the times Kelso had cheated on her. Kelso realizes that he'd cheated because Jackie was constantly insulting him and making him feel bad about himself. Kelso breaks up with Jackie for this reason, but they soon admit that they miss each other. They get back together, but then break up when Jackie says they should get married, and Kelso chooses to run away to California with Donna instead.In the beginning of season 5, it's discovered that Jackie has moved onto a relationship with Steven Hyde, despite the fact that they'd claimed to hate each other for years [they'd gone on a date in season 3 but never started a relationship]. Kelso is insanely jealous and spends most of the season trying to get Jackie back. Hyde cheats on Jackie with a nurse because he'd mistakenly thought Jackie had cheated on him with Kelso. Once it's discovered that Jackie hadn't done anything with Kelso, Hyde feels extremely guilty and tells her about the nurse he'd been with, and told her it'd never happen again. Jackie tells him that's exactly what Kelso used to say, and breaks up with him. Later, Hyde comes to visit Jackie and tells her that he loves her, which is something he'd been denying until that point. Jackie's reaction is Yea well I don't love you. Hyde and Kelso eventually get into a fight over Jackie, and Jackie has trouble choosing between them. Eventually, she chooses Hyde. They stay together for two more seasons. At the end of season 7, Jackie is offered a job in Chicago. Jackie tells Hyde that she's willing to stay in Point Place with Hyde, but she needs to know that they're going to get married. Hyde doesn't give her an answer, and when he finally decides, Jackie is already gone. Jackie, however, finds out that she has no way out of Point Place. Hyde tells her to have a good trip. Soon after, he goes to Chicago to get Jackie back. Instead, he finds Kelso in her hotel room and they are about to have sex. Hyde gets depressed and goes to Vegas. In the season 8 premiere, Hyde finds out that while he was drunk in Vegas he'd married a stripper. This ends their relationship. Jackie remains single for most of season 8.Jackie eventually realizes that Fez has all of the qualities she wants in a man. The two of them get together and stay together. Show less «
