Irma Bunt is a villainess in On Her Majesty's Secret Service .A stout, humourless, German woman, she is an agent for SPECTRE, second-in-command to the organisation's boss, Ernst Stavro Blofeld. At the Piz Gloria, the Alpine retreat where Blofeld has established an allergy clinic to treat a group of young female patients who he is in fact brainwashing to release a deadly virus at his command, Bunt acts as a sort of Matron in charge of all the girls.Bunt narrowly escapes being blown up after her car is forced to crash while she is pursuing Bond and Tracy DiVincenzo, and is not present at the Piz Gloria when Bond later storms and destroys it. However, at the end of the film, she reappears, in the back of a Mercedes driven by Blofeld, and fires the shots that kill Tracy immediately after her wedding to Bond.Bunt is the only villainess in the series to escape with her life at the end of the film. Surprisingly, even though Blofeld and SPECTRE returned in the next film in the series, Diamonds Are Forever , Bunt was absent from his employ and is never mentioned nor seen in the series again.
