Freddie McLair is a kind and quite deep person, he's very intense. He has two best friends JJ and Cook, who he is in the middle of. JJ is the extreme version of his shy, smart self. Whereas Cook is the extreme of his outgoing, daring side. His mother past away and he and his father don't get along all that well. His sister is in a singing contest, in which she is using her mothers death to get pity votes, which Freddie isn't exactly too keen on. He enjoys skateboarding and is in fact very good at it. On his first day of college, he meets Effy, and instantly falls for her, which puts him in a love triangle with her and Cook. He's always getting Cook out of trouble and helping JJ when he needs it. But he's starting to get fed up with always having to bail Cook out. Freddie was killed by the doctor who had become obsessed with Effy.
