The future president of the re-formulated United States of America had a shadowy past. Rumored to be the product of genetic engineering and to have been raised in a government compound, Frankenstein emerged as the best of the drivers in the famed Transcontinental Road Race during his tenure there from 1992-2000. During these eight years, he scored over 6500 points (his assassination of the dictator known as Mr. President was not tallied). He was the only three-time winner of the race.Frankenstein, with the collaboration of the then-government, established a mythos surrounding his many automobile accidents and ostensible reconstructive surgery, including an arm that was supposedly replaced in 1998 and a leg in 1999. However, during his administration it was revealed that the prosthetics were not real. He drove wearing a mask and black uniform that obscured his features, which was seen as adding to his mystique. When he re-inaugurated open government, he revealed his actual appearance, and soon took to wearing white. It is said, however, that President Frankenstein retained a violent streak from his days as a professional homicidal racer. Later Congressional hearings into his responsibility for the death of the once famous TV commentator Junior Bruce were inconclisive.
