Catherine Cat Ballou (lived late 1800's) was the daughter of rancher Frank Ballou and a fan of the dime-novelist Kid Shelleen. She was a finishing school graduate and certified school teacher who never got to teach a class, opting instead for the life of a train robber upon her father's murder. Her gang included a sex maniac, a ranch Indian and an uncle , and the novelist/drunkard/gun-fighter Kid Shelleen.Success in her endevours were not enough as she wanted vengence against the man who she believed ordered her father's death As a result, she took on the role of a prostitute, Tricksey , to trick/force the man, Sir Harry Percival, into signing a paper of confession.
