Kate learned about Gibbs' brash techniques the hard way, was fired from Air-Force One and hired by Gibbs and NCIS. Kate is the big sister of the group and gets along really well with Abby and Tim McGee. More often than not she likes to torment DiNozzo, mainly because he shares every piece of detail about his sex life. She especially likes to torment him with the fact he fell in love with their suspect who turned out not to be a woman at all, but a man. What's it like tonguing a man? He replied, You're right, I can't take it. They only mention it once or twice. Caitlin was held hostage by Ari Haswari with Ducky and Gerald in NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: Bête Noire (#1.16) and Kate tried to stab him but couldn't.
