A refrigerator repairman by trade, Bud is an Eisbiber -- a beaver-like Wesen -- who is initially terrified of homicide detective and Grimm Nick Burkhardt. Later, the pair becomes friendly with Bud taking on a subservient role and even offering small gifts as continual peace offerings. He is friendly and kind family man and, for the most part cheerful -- but also frequently frightened and cowardly, traits he tries hard to overcome. Naturally, he is a fan of the Oregon State Beavers.
