Billie Jenkins is very intelligent and ambitious. She is a college student and probably about 19 or 20 years old. She was not told by anyone that she was a witch. When her powers began to develop she did research and figured out what she was, what demons were, and how to use her powers all on her own. She began searching for demons by herself. Although smart, she was still new to the craft and had a lot to learn. Because of this, she unknowingly began calling for her whitelighter Paige Matthews. At first, Billie had too much pride to accept Paige's help. She also did not know who Paige really was because she was disguised and pretending to be dead. When Billie learned that Paige was a Charmed One, an agreement was reached that Paige, Piper and Pheobe would teach Billie everything they knew about witchcraft and Billie would eventually take over fighting demons. Billie was a quick study because she was very eager to learn. While fighting a demon, Billie had a flash of a traumatic childhood memory. This frightened her, a feeling that someone like Billie did not like to feel. Eventually she allowed herself to remember, and she discovered that her older sister Christy had been kidnapped by demons. After discovering this, Billie became obsessed with finding Christy. She began to neglect her studies, and she also became careless. Billie was angry at her parents, because they refused to talk about Christy, and she thought they had not been searching for her. After confronting her parents, Billie learned that they never stopped searching for Christy. She also learned that her mother knew the girls were witches and that their powers came from their Grandmother. Billie's first active power was the same as Prue Halliwell's, she could move things with her mind. However, Billie's powers developed quickly, and soon her second power developed: projection. This is rare and powerful. The power of projection gave Billie the ability to project her will on things. This was the power that allowed her to find Christy. Billie loved her sister very much and desperately wanted to help her. Christy would not open up to Billie and would not talk about what happened to her. Billie helped Christy develop her powers, and tried to teach Christy how to be a member of society. Christy had been brainwashed by the demons who held her captive, and she believed that the Charmed Ones were evil and had tricked Billie. She tried to convince Billie to spend less time with the Charmed Ones, but Billie loved the sisters and felt like they were family. Billie and Christy's parents were killed by demons. Billie was so confused and hurt that Christy was able to manipulate Billie into thinking that Piper was partially responsible for their parents death. She convinced Billie that the Charmed Ones were selfish, and because of it they were neglecting their duties to the greater good, and that they needed to be stopped before it was too late. Billie was very confused, she did not want to believe it. Christy introduced Billie to a demon named Dumain, who had been their imaginary friend as children. Billie trusted him. Dumain and Christy found out that the Charmed Ones had enlisted the leprechauns for help, and they ordered demons to attack the leprechauns. This tricked Billie into thinking that the Charmed Ones were bad and needed to be stopped. Billie was finally convinced. She did not like it, but she knew it had to be done. Dumain kidnapped Wyatt, so Billie and Christy could use his powers to get the Hollow. Luckily the Charmed Ones called for the Hollow at the same time, which caused it to enter into all five at the same time. The great battle ensued, and in the end it destroyed the manor, and killed Christy, Pheobe, and Paige. Billie was devastated, and all she wanted was to have Christy back. Dumain told Billie that she could project herself back into the past to save Christy. While she was concentrating, Dumain let slip that she should project back to the Triad. Billie than realized that the Triad had not been behind this all along and she and Christy had been used. However, she still needed to go back in time to save Christy. She went back in time, but the past Billie and Christy were already possessed by the Hollow and unwilling to listen, and past Billie threw present Billie across the room. Meanwhile Piper went back in time and enlisted the help of her mom and Grams and was able to expel the hollow before the battle killed everyone. Present Billie than became one with past Billie, which meant that she kept the knowledge that the Triad had been using them to kill the Charmed Ones. Billie was shocked to learn that Christy knew all along that the Triad was behind it, and she said that Billie should have saved them instead of her. Billie finally came to her senses and said she would not be a killer, and realized that Christy had been brainwashed into becoming evil. Billie felt terrible and apologized to the Charmed Ones, explaining that she just wanted to be with Christy, and she was unwilling to see the truth. Billie redeemed herself by taking the Charmed Ones back in time to destroy Dumain and the Triad once and for all. Billie begged Christy to come home, to be with her, but Christy tried to kill Billie by sending a fireball back at her, and Billie did the only thing she could do: she sent it back at Christy, killing her.
