Born January 19 1885 to Benjamin and Elizabeth Turner, Cole Turner is the human persona of a unique half-blood upper level demon whose intrinsiquely evil demonic 'half' goes by the name Belthazor. He has a truly monstruous appearance, so he's sort of a Jeckyl and Hyde from hell. As a human, Cole is a magnificent man (Julian MacMahon!), tall, strong, handsome, sexy, smart, seductive, quit a stud, attractive except perhaps for his professional vocation (actually, his demonic cover): he is a lawyer, in the San Francisco public prosecution office. The Source of evil gave him the assignment to approach the Charmed sisters close and long enough to learn everything usefull for their otherwise ever elusive destruction, but then a cardinal human emotion starts overriding Cole's demonic nature: he falls is love with Phoebe, as she will with him, a true love, yet more impossible then Romeo and Juliet, making him desire above all to become good for her sake, or tempt her to evil for his. In various phases his human and demonic halves get the better of Cole, masterly but most uncomfortably jumping on his good - and evil foot.In the fourth season, Cole willingly takes in The Hollow as a last resort attempt to save the Charmed Ones from certain doom. This results in the dead source taking over Cole to retain his position in the underworld as King, later along with Phoebe as his Queen who stopped Cole's plan to reverse the unfortunate situation. When her sisters finally manage to turn Phoebe back to good, they proceed to kill Cole who is banished to the Demonic Wasteland. In the fifth season, Cole comes back from the demonic wasteland by stealing the powers of others who were banished there as well. His numerous attempts to reconcile his marriage with Phoebe prove to be worthless. In the One Hundreth episode of the show titled Centennial Charmed , Cole tries one last time to reunite with Phoebe in an alternate universe one year earlier. Cole is vanquished for good on his One Hundred and Seventeenth birthday( Technically One Hundred and Eighteenth).Where is Cole now? We find out in The Seven Year Witch that he is stuck in a cosmic plane between life and death . We also know for certain that he is not a human, demon, ghost, poltergeist, spirit, or nightmare.
