Angela Martin is a corporate accountant for Dunder Mifflin, Scranton. She is rigid and often unnecessarily callous to coworkers like Phyllis Lapin Vance and Pam Beesley. She claims to be a good Christian woman but often contradicts herself through micromanaging and being extremely judgmental of others. In season two, she kindled a relationship with salesman Dwight Schrute, which they hid from the rest of the office but couldn't manage to hide from the documentary crew. She has filed complaints against everyone in the office but redacted those she filed against Dwight after they began seeing each other. When fellow accountant Oscar Martinez reveals himself to be a homosexual, she is harsh and closed minded but eventually apologizes.Angela has stated that she hates Kelly and Ryan more than anyone else in the office, has tried to manipulate Dwight into usurping Michael's role as Regional Manager, and loves cats. It is, in fact, her love of cats that ends her relationship with Dwight after he mercy-kills the very sick Sprinkles without her permission.Somewhat hypocritically, Angela moved on and began dating Andy Bernard publicly despite being adamant that her relationship with Dwight be kept a secret. She previously hated Andy for his rivalry with Dwight, though they eventually become engaged. However, once Andy proposes, Angela begins to fool around with Dwight once more. Who she ultimately ends up with remains to be seen.
