Zvonimir Hace was born in Zagreb, Croatia (former Yugoslavia). At the age of 7, Zvonimir was chosen to act as a child in the Croatian film, Seljacka Buna 1573. This inspired him to desire to become an actor in Hollywood. In the early 80s, he also acted in other Croatian films Smogovci (1982) and Velo Miso (1981) and began his formal theatre training at Djecje Kazaliste Dubrava. The next three years, Zvonimir played different classical and modern roles in the theatre. Parallel to his theatre acting, Zvonimir trained in Karate and Tae-Kwon Do.After graduating high school, Zvonimir did not get accepted in the Yugoslavian State run Drama Academy and thus pursued a Geological Engineering Degree. During university, Zvonimir started to professionally train in Kickboxing/Boxing with legendary fighter Branko Cikatic and boxer Damir Skaro who got him involved working as a stunt coordinator. In 1991, war broke out in former Yugoslavia and Zvonimir joined the Army. The following year, Zvonimir was chosen in Kick-boxing to professionally compete in Netherlands and eventually moved there. Despite his stable Kick-boxing/Personal Trainer career, he took the risk and moved to Los Angeles.From 2000-2003, he was accepted in Theatre of Arts Hollywood and studied under the Meisner technique. In 2001, he married an American ballet dancer and was able to become a resident and later citizen of the US. Zvonimir began to act in film and TV in minor roles. Simultaneously, he was acting in local Shakespearean and dramatic theatre roles. Zvonimir continued to stay active in Kickboxing and began his training in Brazilan Jiu-Jitsu which led him into MMA (mixed martial arts). In terms of acting, he studied with Scott Paulin and wife Wendy Phillips. During 2008 - 2009, Zvonimir performed stunts in several European films. As of November 2009, Zvonimir studied film acting with Jamison Haase and attended stunt training with Robert G. Goodwin. As of 2011-present, Zvonimir has studied film acting with Bruce Glover and Ken Lerner; and commercial acting with Coach Mike Pointer in his class, Hey, I Saw Your Commercial!In addition, Zvonimir Hace wrote The Croatian Priest with his current wife, Grace Hace whom he married on his birthday, October 25th, 2014 at St. Anthony's Croatian Catholic Church in Los Angeles.
