Yawar Charlie, the grandson of Indian film legend, Noor Mohammed Charlie, and son of Pakistani television stars, Latif and Masooma Charlie, is setting out to make his mark in both Hollywood and Bollywood. Having been raised in the states, Yawar has been performing since the age of 6 under the supervision of his grandfather, Noor Mohammed Charlie. Raised in San Francisco, Yawar attended The University of San Francisco, majoring in both Psychology and Communication. He later attend The University of California, Davis, where he earned his Master in Fine Arts degree. His singing talents recently caught the attention of Ustad Sultan Khan, one of India's premier classical musicians. Having performed with international artists like Duran Duran, Talvin Singh, George Harrison and Madonna, Ustad Sultan Khan asked Yawar to collaborate with him on his new fusion concept album. The result was the song, "Love So Deep", a beautiful blend of traditional Indian melodies and modern English pop music.
