Since graduating from the University of Southern California's Cinema-Television School, Will Plyler has worked in the film and television industry.Will began his career working for television director Corey Allen on the popular TV series "Hunter" including the episodes: "Hunter" (1990) Unfinished Business (6.15), "Hunter" (1989) Investment in Death (6.3), and "Hunter" (1990) Lullaby (6.16). From there, he went to work at Oscar-nominated director Mark Rydell's Concourse Productions for four years. During his time at Concourse, Will worked directly with Rydell during the pre-production, production and post-production of the feature films For the Boys (1991) and Intersection (1994). In between films, he worked to find feature projects for Concourse to develop and produce.Will segued from Concourse to work on Mission: Impossible (1996). He was responsible for overseeing the Los Angeles pre-production office for five months. Then in March 1995, he went to work for executive producer William Fay at Centropolis Entertainment. Over the next four years, Will worked on 20th Century Fox's Independence Day (1996), TriStar Pictures' Godzilla (1998) and the Fox TV series "The Visitor" (1997) starring John Corbett.From 2002 to 2007, Will served as head of development for Mania Productions, the film and TV division of Mania Entertainment. He focused on finding science fiction, fantasy and horror projects for the company to develop and produce. At the time, Mania Entertainment was the publisher of "Cinescape" magazine.Will lives in West Los Angeles, California.
