Long time actress Wendy Pennington can now add Award Winning Screenwriter and Filmmaker to her resume. As of September 9, 2017, Wendy and the team of, "Something Borrowed, Someone Blue," won 1st place/Best Film at the 48 Hour Film Race. They also won best writing and cinematography. Next stop is the competition in Paris, France in March 2018. If they make the top ten, the film will then screen at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.Wendy opened Improv Dallas in Dallas, TX, in 2012 after returning from 14 years of studying and working in Hollywood. She has studied with greats like The Groundling's and Howard Fine. One of her favorite works is a Nick at Nite short working with Tim Conway, Marion Ross and Adam West where she spoofed "I Dream Of Jeannie." You can find her working from CA to NY and all across the south including Improv Dallas corporate events with her ID Comedy Troupe.Her love for performing started at age 3 as a mascot in a Texas drill team.
