Electronic funk revolutionary, Wade Randolph Hampton, aka DJ WishFM, has always preferred exploring the outer perimeters of dance music. He is a musician's Jack-of-all- Trades. Wade will serve as a Producer on The Starck Project (2014) with a focus on music-licensing and original score.Wade splits his time between the studio and the rush of live environment. He has produced the soundtrack for Sony Pictures Classics _Groove_ on the Kinetic/Warner Brothers label. _Groove_ was nominated for 'Best Film Under $500,000' at the 2001 IFC Independent Film Awards. The soundtrack sold over 100,000 copies in 24 countries. In 2002, Wade contributed to the remix album for Darren Aronofsky's Oscar winning film, Requiem for a Dream (2000), which was released on Thrive/Sony/RED Records. In 2006, Wade served as Music Supervisor for the documentary TV Junkie (2006) which won the Sundance Film Festival Special Jury Prize.Wade has produced 5 highly celebrated compilation CDs and two original artist albums for San Francisco's groundbreaking Zoe Magik label. On his own labels, Domestic Recordings and La Belle Epoque Musique, he released his own debut album and albums for American dance music stalwarts Mark Farina, Symbiosis and Westside Chemical.Cementing his reputation as a true historian of American dance music, Wade has spent two decades headlining at the world's largest music festivals and being featured in 19 television and film documentaries; including MTV's True Life series, CBS's 48 Hours, and the late Peter Jennings heralded Ecstasy Rising .
