She was the hostess of television talk shows from the 1950s to 1970s that are considered forerunners to today's daytime TV. She was best known for the nationally syndicated television talk shows Girl Talk (1962) on ABC from 1963-1969, and The Virginia Graham Show (1970) from 1970-1972.
