Serendipity sparked Victor Sole's acting career.It was the summer of 2011 and Cloud Atlas was being shot in Mallorca. Victor thought of applying as an extra with some friends for fun. Not only was he the group's sole successful candidate, but the Wachowskis actually cast him in a credited supporting role. The weeks Victor shared working with seasoned professionals such as Tom Hanks, Jim Broadbent and Jim Sturgess were one of the most amazing sensations of his life. Enthralled by the art of acting, he found the process of developing a character to be an irresistible transcendental experience.Stoked with excitement, Victor trained professionally while performing in productions such as Alex de la Iglesia's biopic of soccer superstar Lionel Messi (2014) and Ron Howard's epic In the Heart of the Sea (2015). He also appeared in the HBO-TNT TV series Transporter, and stars in full-season, movie-style commercials for Raiffeisen Bank in the Czech Republic.Victor's life may have been a great inspiration for any movie... As a teenager, Victor's ambitions were on the sports side. He won the U16 1500m steeplechase at the 1986 Spanish Track and Field Championships, Victor's burning ambition to compete in the 1992 Olympics in his hometown of Barcelona was cut short by a knee injury. The time having come to focus on his education. He earned an MA in Organizational Psychology and an MBA. Victor kicked off his professional career in the private sector. As an HR Manager for Swiss multinational Adecco, he played a major role in the development of LATAM market countries such as Brazil and Argentina. A brief stint in London during the dot-com bubble was followed by a two-year hitch in the war-torn region of Kosovo, where he helped to secure peace and foster progress as a member of UNMIK. His next stop was The World Bank's Headquarters in Washington, DC, out of which he supported the development of Middle East countries.In 2009, out of the blue, Victor was struck with a thyroid cancer diagnosis that turned his life upside down. He resigned from his HR position at The World Bank, ended his second marriage and returned to Spain to be close to family, particularly Marc, his son from his first marriage. Over the ensuing couple of years, Victor opened his heart to meditation, yoga, tantra and alternative lifestyles. Out of his apartment in his seaside hometown of Calafell, he subsequently founded "Plenitud," an association of like-minded people who seek to awaken their spiritual energy.It was then that the Waschowski's encounter occurred and his life as an actor started. Victor is currently enjoying both his love of acting and lifelong passion for sports. As a Licensed Soccer Coach, he applies his training in business and psychology, and his life experience, to the game he loves, devising winning strategies for the teams under his tutelage.
