Tyler Burns was born in Nova Scotia, Canada where he has balanced work as a musician, actor, and television host. After graduating from Neptune Theatre school in 2010 he embarked on a cross Canada tour taking him from Nova Scotia to British Columbia. Upon returning home to Nova Scotia he filmed his most notable role yet in "Call Me Fitz" as "Joey" along side fellow Canadian Jason Priestly.
