Tristan was the writer/director behind Australia's first full-length feature film in one single take, across the span of 9 different locations and a running time of 82 minutes "Watch the Sunset", which was named by Cinema Australia as one of the top five films of the year. It was selected in official competition at the Perth Revelation International Film Festival, Brisbane International Festival, Byron Bay Film Festival, Sydney Underground Film Festival's before traveling to the Montreal World Film Festival, and having its cinema release in Australia. The film has received numerous accolades including "Best Film" and a "Best Actor" award for Tristan's portrayal of bikie gang member Danny Biaro and is currently streaming on STAN in Australia whilst being sold to the ROW.Tristan grew up in Brisbane, Australia and began his career as an actor after training at the renowned Victorian College of The Arts. He appeared in tv and film including ABC's "It's A Date" which received the AACTA award for "Best Comedy", Channel Nine's "Gallipoli", and the critically acclaimed drama "Monster Pies". From his acting history evolved his intimately involved process working with performers to create instinctive and visceral portrayals of character. Inspired by visionary film-makers the likes of Paul Thomas Anderson and Mike Leigh, Tristan's work is characterized by a detail-orientated approach and by visually iconic aesthetics that add charisma and personality to his stories and concepts.A passionate visual storyteller, his work has received consistent praise, including an accolade for "Best Director" at the Canada International Film Festival for his feature project titled "This Little Piggy" and "Best Comedy" at the Sanctuary Cove Film Festival for his short film "Gabby's First Time".In 2018 Tristan co-founder production company Continuance Pictures which is focused on producing innovative and thought-provoking content with market outcomes. His latest projects include an Animation with the producer of 'The Nut Job' Jay Ahn, a tv series with Hoodlum Entertainment who shot the first Australian Netflix series, and a slew of projects with Laura Rister from Untitled Entertainment (Lovelace, Margin Call, The Tale).
