Sergen graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Languages, History and Geography, Department of Theater Directing, and received a master's degree from Gazi University, Department of International Relations.He worked as a radio presenter and TV program producer at TRT. He worked in Trabzon State Theaters General Directorate and private theaters for a short time. He took part in television commercials, clips, morning generation and competition programs, and he does voice-over work.Toprak Sergen, who has also released a music album called "Album", is the son of artist Semih Sergen and brother of Burak Sergen, and continues to act in movies and TV series.
