Tony Dalton studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York City. During this period he participated in small Off-Broadway productions such as "The Ballad of the Sad Café" and "A Streetcar Named Desire," among others. He began his film career as an extra in the movies Minotaur (1997) and the short film Scriptfellas (1999). He gained notoriety from Mexican audiences for having produced and starred in the TV series No te Equivoques (2001), he has appeared in the soap operas: Ramona (2000), Clase 406 (2002) Rebelde (2004-2006) Flor Salvaje (2011) and Dueños del Paraíso (2015). His first successful film venture was Matando Cabos (2004), starring and co-writing the screenplay. He continued as an actor, appearing in Volver,Volver (2005), Mujer Alabastrina (2006), Efectos Secundarios (2006) Sultanes del Sur (2007) in the latter apart from acting he also wrote the screenplay.
