Togba Norris began his career in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis-St. Paul) as a stage actor and Hip Hop dancer, working with Youth Performance Company, Children's Theatre, Mixed Blood Theatre, Illusion Theatre, and Guthrie Theatre under the direction of Broadway's Bartlett Sher, Joe Dowling, and Sari Ketter. He's played a principal role in playwright Femi Osofisun's and Guthrie Theatre's production of "Many Colors Make the Thunder-King'', and two season (including the 1999 production covered by Playbill) of "A Christmas Carol". Mr. Norris' stage work landed him on a short list of young actors to work with in Minnesota while there.Togba has appeared in numerous regional and national commercials, industrial videos, and print ads for Best Buy, Coca-Cola, Great Clips, Houlihan's Restaurant chains, Old Chicago Restaurant, The Learning Company, Wilsons Leather, Dayton Hudson/ Marshall Field's, Target, Mervyn's, Wells Fargo, and Northwest Airlines.He relocated from the Twin Cities to LA in 2003, continued pursuing Film as well as theatre, with Theatre @ Boston Court under the direction of Darin Anthony and with Noah Wyle's Blank Theatre Company. Togba is now working in Film and TV, based in NYC, and continues to work between LA, NYC, Atlanta, and the Twin Cities regularly.
