Tiwana Floyd's first foray to the stage was in a 7th grade production of the musical Pippin. A fan of the 80's classic film, Fame, she auditioned for a dance magnet program in Yonkers NY. To her dismay that dance program didn't perform choreographed routines to "Hot Lunch" in the cafeteria; nevertheless, she learned the art of performance while in attendance. After graduating high school Tiwana segued to principle dancer in popular music videos of the 90's. LL Cool J's "Around the Way Girl" directed by Paris Barclay, was her first professional gig, followed by Rob Base, DMX, (who quite frankly never needed dancers) and a host of other popular notables.Subsequently, she returned to acting and studied Meisner at NYC's Ward Studio; shortly after completing that program, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue acting work in TV, Film and Commercials.Tiwana is a Second City graduate and has performed multiple shows with "This Is Not A Tan: Presents" at UCB, iO West. She also co-wrote & performed in 2 shows for the Second City stage: Frenemies of the State and The Music Is Too Loud: 40 A Coming of Age Story.Her dance background has taught her structure, discipline and translating emotion through movement. Acting has taught her to translate emotions with behavior. Improv has taught her Balls To The Wall.
