Tiago Roberts was raised in Tomball, Texas a neighboring community of Houston, Texas. At nine years old his family moved to Santiago, Chile. While living in Chile he attended the famed Nido de Aguilas International School. In Chile he became fluent in Spanish and it was there he began shaping his world view and perspective. Being American with an ethnic look, he was in demand in the local entertainment industry and subsequently he and his younger brother starred in numerous television commercials, television shows and print campaigns.Tiago moved back to the U.S. to attend high school and later earned a scholarship to college playing basketball, but he never lost sight of his passion for acting.In 2009 Tiago moved to La Jolla, California to research and write a screenplay (La Linea) about illegal human trafficking along the U.S./Mexico border. This experience included months in Tijuana, Mexico infiltrating the underground world of human trafficking, an experience that fueled his creative passion to return to acting and he moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2010.Since 2010 he has appeared in numerous television shows and three films and continues working to bring La Linea to the screen.
