Thomas E. Reed is the founder of "Miami Models" and Paraween established in 1996, and based in Boynton Beach FL. The Hoover's listed and trademarked Miami Models would represent the Miami Dolphin Cheerleaders, Polo Black Label, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, and Ralph Lauren. Early life, from 1960 through 1962, Reed lived in the home of William Roosevelt the grandson of President Roosevelt, in Cherry Hills, Colorado. His mother and grandmother were employed by the Roosevelt's with residence on the property. His Father, Dr. Howard Reed an Attorney and Connecticut Politician.What kick-started Reed's career was an opportunity as Stage & Lighting Coordinator for Runway Fashion Shows in Hartford CT. His more notable break came when working as Stage Manager and Photographer for Club Getaway (Club Med) where his work was noticed by Dannell Gallo an editor for Penthouse. Gallo invited Reed to Omni-Penthouse on Feb 26, 1986, located at 1965 Broadway NY, where he was introduced and schooled on slide film. He married and found opportunities in Miami Beach shooting Model Composite Cards. Agencies: Michelle Pommier, Wilhelmina, Greene Agency, Boca Talent, World of Kids, and Famous Faces. Reed's years in the fashion industry showcased his talents, winning the newcomer first place in South Florida photography contests. Reed would later finance his agency, Miami Models. By 1999, the Management firm was renowned for European print fashion and runway. Reed has been the subject of six (6) documentaries and/or feature films, with dozens of guest appearances as himself. He is presently the director of Paraween, a Celebrity Powered Halloween Convention and Film Festival.Reed worked as an Associate Producer for the Syndicated Television Series "Today's Health" with Tennis Pro Chris Evert, as his agency provided the talent for 5-star productions.
