Born in San Diego, CA, Tamarah Murley and her family moved to Gulfport, MS when she was a toddler. Her Navy father moved the family to Virginia for a couple of years before finally settling on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Since the early age of five, it was apparent through Tamarah's love of the arts that she was destined to be a performer. In 1999, she was on set of an independent film and caught the eye of the director. He decided on the spot to cast her to play a small part in the movie. She was bitten by the acting bug once again. That same year, Tamarah decided to take it to the next level and began honing her craft in Meisner based acting classes. After many years in this technique, she made the switch to the Ivana Chubbuck technique through acting coach Theresa Bell in Dallas, TX and ultimately at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio in Los Angeles. Having worked between the Dallas, Los Angeles, and New Orleans markets since 1999, Tamarah has been paving the way for herself as an actress, particularly in independent film. Show less «
