Talyn Edelson is a Tennessee-born action actress and stunt performer who currently lives in Los Angeles (2017).This Southern Belle's passion for disturbing subject material spread like wildfire when she was cast as the lead in Bang, Bang, You're Dead at Stillwater High School. The role pushed her to delve deep into the mind of a young boy who, due to bullying, coped with his emotional struggle by taking a gun to school and killing his fellow classmates. Talyn was hooked; she continued to play dangerous characters such as La Paloma, the temptress in Deadwood Dick or a Game of Gold and Agnes, a deranged nun, in Agnes of God before making her move to film acting.Her obsession with movement drove her to participate in countless sports. Talyn obtained a Second Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and won many trophies for her sparring, forms and weapons work. As a young teenager, she was named World Champion in her age division in Sparring. Talyn was a cheerleader for five years. She was named as a UCA (United Cheerleading Association) All-Star in addition to being elected Cheer Captain her last year on the squad before transferring schools and deciding to study other forms of movement. Talyn received an 8 year achievement award for her dancing skills in clogging, lyrical, jazz, and contemporary dance styles. Talyn was an officer and athlete on the Oklahoma State Sailing Team and the Oklahoma State Wakeboarding Team. In her spare time she participates in extreme sports such as parkour, rock climbing, snowboarding and wakeboarding. Talyn holds degrees in Theatre Performance and Graphic/Motion Design from Oklahoma State University (Graduate of December 2012).Talyn continues to train and work as an action actress and stunt performer in the entertainment industry.
