Sylvio Gonçalves is a Brazilian writer, known for film and TV productions like S.O.S. Mulheres ao Mar (2014), Confissões de Adolescente (2013), Sem Controle (2007) and As Brasileiras (2011/2012). He directed the short movies Play-Rec (1994) and Roleta (2002). He graduated in Journalism at Faculdade da Cidade in 1990 and in Film at Unesa in 2002. After his first graduation, he started out as movie critic, writing for Cinemin magazine (1990-1995) and Radio MEC (1995-1998). He wrote a TV trivia quiz book and three novels for young adults. As a literary translator he has translated to Portuguese hundreds of novels from such authors as Mario Puzo, Tom Clancy and Ira Levin. Show less «
